As a young man Satish undertook the incredible journey of walking for peace from the grave of Gandhi in India to the grave of J F Kennedy in the USA. 

He had no money or possessions but did take a gift of tea to the heads of state of Russia, France, the UK and the USA.

Satish requested of these powerful men that if they were ever on the verge of initiating nuclear attack, to first sit down and have a cup of tea and to think it over.

Satish is now the editor of Resurgence Magazine, one of the best environmental / ecological magazines in the UK . 

Satish is a real hero of our times and his life’s work reflects this at every turn.
