Roger Lewin
Roger Lewin is an award-winning science writer who has worked with palaeontologist Richard Leakey on four books, including Origins and The Sixth Extinction.
Lewin's Own books include Complexity: Life at the Edge of Chaos Patterns in Evolution and Bones of Contention, which won the Aventis Prize as the best popular science book published in the UK in 1989. In his new book, Making Waves, Lewin brilliantly weaves together two fascinating and heroic stories: Dr Irving Dardik progression from award winning medical doctor to scientific iconoclast and pioneer, chronicling his struggles to convince the scientific community to take him seriously; and the evolution of Dardik's mind-expanding SuperWave Principle.
Lewin's contribution to the event documents the heroic birth of a Big Idea in science and will interest those concerned with their own health and vitality as well as those curious about the fundamental workings of nature.
